We should celebrate that such men lived...

June 6th is the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landing at Normandy.
If you have never been to the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach, you should consider making that a priority.
I can not fathom the courage it took for those men of the USA, Great Britain, and Canada to hit that beach in the face of an extraordinarily capable, and truly evil, foe.
I will never know that fear, and I will never know if I possessed the strength of the men and women of the Greatest Generation. I am overwhelmingly grateful.
To quote then General Dwight Eisenhower: "Freedom itself means nothing unless there is faith."
Keep the faith. Say a prayer this week for the heroes who sacrificed it all that day so long ago. RIP.
